Crushers Can't Stop Me

There was a time when I wanted to accomplish the goal of becoming a doctor when I got older. I planned to attend a major university and my brothers both told me that my expectation were set to high and I would never get to accomplish that dream. Well my freshman year of high school I received a letter from a college for future doctors in the mail. There was a class I could attend for 2,000 dollars. I was so excited to have the chance to go explore for my future. Everything sound so good, I had two weeks until I left, well right up to my last three days I find out my mother had to have surgery so I didn’t go. There was no way I was going to be able to leave on a flight knowing that my mom is in the hospital. My brother told me that they respected what I done for my mother and that they have changed and think that in the future my dreams will become my life and I will accomplish anything I want to.

  1. I think you'll make a great doctor and I agree with your brother that staying with your mother during that time was a very respectable decision. In fact, I think it will make you an even more compassionate doctor!
